Alexandrite and Blue Diamond Ring (1.6 carats)

This is such a unique piece with the combination of Alexandrite and Blue Diamonds. Alexandrite was the stone of Russian royalty. This beautiful modern ring lends itself to the original Alexandrites of old that were mined out of Russia until about 100 years ago (see Wiki link); however, this is a created piece since it is nearly impossible to find mined Alexandrites any longer. This is a lovely (emerald cut stone - totaling approximately 1.6 carats). Russian created lilac Alexandrite that shifts to blue seen in the photo in the sunlight. It is set in sterling with .01 carats of faceted deep Blue Diamonds.  Size 9, can be sized by a good jeweler.
